Differentials & Viscous couplings

We provide complete transfers case assemblies as a direct bolt on replacement unit.

Note: It is required when ordering a transfer case assembly that a VIN "Vehicle Identification Number" is provided to ensure that the correct viscous coupling and gear set is supplied. Failing to do so may result in premature failure of the drive train, abnormal/dangerous driving behavior including under steer and over steer conditions due to different viscous coupling characteristics

6 Speed Transfer CaseWe supply transfer case assemblies with either 12 month or 24 month warranty. (Please specify when talking to our representative if you are interested in the 12month or 24 month warranty units)



Each Subaru Transfer case unit consists of the following components:Transfer Case Assemblies

  • Transfer gear set
  • New input and output bearings*
  • New genuine Subaru viscous coupling unit*
  • New Subaru seals, orings and sealing compounds
  • Tested reverse check mechanism
  • Each transfer case assembly is shimmed and pre-loaded according to factory specifications.

*(Only 24month warranty transfer case assemblies contain new genuine Subaru viscous couplings and all new bearings)

 

Note: All Transfer case assemblies are supplied on an exchange basis.
New or tested viscous couplings can be purchased separately.
Tested viscous coupling are only used or sold if they meet or exceed manufacturers desired torque ratings.

Rear Differentials

New or Remanufactured

Rear-Diff-Assembly-pOver the last few years Subaroo Gearboxes has been rebuilding the R160 T and VA type rear differentials and recently added the R180 LSD differentials to our remanufacturing line up. We use all genuine Subaru tooling to ensure pinion depths and preloads including crown wheel run out are within factory specifications.

Subaroo Gearboxes use only genuine Subaru parts within our remanufactured differentials to guarantee reliability and longevity.

Warranty Information

All used subaru gearbox parts are covered by a 3 month replacement warranty, all new Subaru parts are covered by 12 month replacement warranty. If new subaru gearbox parts are fitted by All Drive Subaroo we therefore provide a 24 month, 50,000km warranty which ever occurs first from the date of purchase.
